Company Description

SICIM is a Construction Company established in 1962 and offering all types of services related to the installation of pipelines and relevant ancillary facilities for the transmission and distribution of oil, gas and water on an international basis.

Position

Sicim is looking for a Contract Manager in Saudi Arabia.


The candidate will ensure the effective management and execution of contracts within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the contract lifecycle, from initial negotiation and drafting to contract execution, monitoring, and compliance. Ensuring that contracts are implemented efficiently, and contractual obligations are met in a timely and compliant manner. The key responsbilities will include:


1. Contract Creation and Negotiation:


Collaborate with legal, and other relevant teams to draft, review, and negotiate contracts.

Ensure contracts align with legal and regulatory requirements and organizational policies.


2. Contract Management:


Maintain a centralized repository of all contracts, including key terms, expiration dates, and obligations.

Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.

Track important milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.

ASSURE that PROPER CORRESPONDANCE IS ISSUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS OF THE CONTRACT. SUPPORT AND DRAFT LETTERS AS NEEDED.


3. Vendor and Supplier Relations:


Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other contract parties.

Address any disputes, conflicts, or issues that may arise during the contract period.


4. Compliance and Risk Management:


Identify potential risks and issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact contracts.


5. Reporting and Documentation:


Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports related to contracts.

Generate reports for management, outlining contract status, performance, and potential issues.



6. Contract Amendments / Renewals / Change orders and claims:


Evaluate the need for contract amendments or renewals and initiate the process as required.

Ensure that amendments are properly documented and approved.

MANAGE THE CREATION AND DISCUSSION WITH CLIENT FOR CHANGE ORDERS AND CLAIMS


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in contract administration or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, legal terminology, and contract management software.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fidic conversant
  • ENGLISH, C2 OR MOTHER TONGUE
  • 7/10 YEARS experience in similar role
  • Experience in the CONSTRUCTION SECTOR, OIL & GAS SECTOR PREFERRED.
